STOKE CITY FANS’ FORUM
“Ways of Working Statement”
Aim
- To help unlock the potential of Stoke City Football Club through the active participation of supporters in all areas of its business.
Objectives
- To establish an open two-way communication process for the channelling of ideas and feedback
- To continuously improve customer service
- To participate in the long term strategy for the regeneration of the club
- To make the Britannia Stadium a place where fans want to come (and visiting teams don’t!)
- To take responsibility for harnessing the energy of supporters for the benefit of the club
- To effectively communicate the issues discussed and the action taken to as wide an audience as possible
Responsibilities
- Collective
- All decisions and communications made by the SCFF must be supported by all participants
- Accountability of the SCFF is to the supporter base as a whole
- The SCFF must speak with one voice
- The SCFF must be accessible to those they represent
- Participants, or a representative of, must attend all SCFF meetings as required
- Participants must be accessible to those they represent
- Participants must communicate with those they represent. This includes gathering ideas and feedback of actions. This will be via a group meeting, newsletter, matchday programme, the Stoke City or Fans’ Forum website or the local media
- Participants must actively participate in and support SCFF led initiatives
